Extreme weather, or evidence of climate change?
A useful discussion about how climate scientists are attempting to answer the question – is it an extreme event, or is it climate change? Attribution of a single weather event to climate change is difficult to demonstrate, but this article provides an accessible introduction to the approaches that are being used to try to uncover those links.
