The UK is in the top five countries globally for achieving environmental certificates under the standard ISO14001.Figures published recently show that more than 267,000 organisations in 158 countries are now certified against the standard's requirements.

This is very good news indeed! The certification is not only affirmation that the UK is doing its part in maintaining the health of our environment, but also motivating other countries to do the same. The goal of every country should be to follow the example of the top 5 ISO 14001 certified countries, and meet the quality standards. Doing so would not only be an achievement, but also a great boon in the fight to keep our environment clean.
